Yes, capture needs the extension.

The FixLink web app edits, saves, publishes, and shares guides. The Chrome recorder is what captures the active tab safely.

1. 01

   Install the recorder

   Add the FixLink Chrome recorder, then pin it so it is easy to find during support work.

2. 02

   Open the target tab

   Go to the account, settings screen, or app page where the customer gets stuck.

   Start capture

   Press Start capture in the extension and walk through the fix once.

4. 04

   Save draft

   The extension sends the local draft back to FixLink so you can save, polish, publish, and share it.
