How do I record a walkthrough?+

Install the FixLink Capture recorder, open the page where your customer gets stuck, open the side panel and press Start, then walk through the fix once. See recorder setup.

Do I need the extension to make a guide?+

No. You can write a guide by hand in your dashboard — no recording or install needed. The recorder just makes it faster for screen-based fixes.

How is sensitive data protected?+

Password, email, payment, and token fields are blurred the moment you record, typed values are never captured, and detected secrets are redacted. Details in our privacy policy.

Do my customers need an account to open a fix link?+

No. Anyone with the link can open the guide and mark it solved or not.
